Private Room Terms
SmoQ’s Private Party Rooms offer a more comfortable and intimate setting for your party, special event or business meeting. We have two different rooms available to meet the needs of large and small groups alike. Please contact our event coordinator for help in booking a room and creating a very special occasion.

Lunch – 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Dinner – Sunday-Thursday 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM; Friday and Saturday 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
To best serve all our guests, use of our private rooms during the following business hours require a signed agreement, deposit and minimum expenditure:
Lunch – Saturday & Sunday 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Dinner – Saturday 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Sunday 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
If you require special time considerations for your event, please let us know when booking and we will do our best to accommodate.
The Blues Room
The Blues Room is a semi-private room off our main dining room. Exclusive use of this room requires a minimum of 25 guests. There is a minimum expenditure requirement of $588 for lunch and $882 for dinner exclusive of tax and gratuity (based upon usage of 1 hour, additional time will result in a higher required minimum expenditure). Additional charge for exceeding contracted time in room (charged in 15 minute increments). An 18% service fee is automatically added. This room can comfortably accommodate up to 32 guests.
The Memphis Room
The Memphis Room is a private room off our main dining room. Exclusive use of this room requires a minimum of 37 guests. There is a minimum expenditure requirement of $875 for lunch and $1,310 for dinner exclusive of tax and gratuity (based upon usage of 1 hour, additional time will result in a higher required minimum expenditure). Additional charge for exceeding contracted time in room (charged in 15 minute increments). An 18% service is automatically added. This room can comfortably accommodate up to 52 guests.
Private Room Deposit and Cancellation Policy
A credit card deposit of 20% of the anticipated total cost of the party is required to reserve the private room and is due at the time of signing. The remainder of the full cost is to be paid the day of your party. If a limited menu is requested, the final menu choices must be received one week prior and final guest count two days prior to your event; minimum expenditures apply. You will be expected to pay for the number of guests confirmed even if less attends. If the cancellation of your party is absolutely necessary, the amount of your deposit to be refunded will be as follows from the day that you notify us of your cancellation:
- 120 days prior or more – 100%
- 119 – 90 days – 90%
- 89 – 60 days – 70%
- 59 – 30 days – 50%
- Less than 30 days – 0%
Service Fees for the Blues or Memphis Room
We are fortunate to have a mature and professional service staff that will provide you with excellent attention. To ensure that your guests receive the attention they deserve we suggest one server per 25 guests, not to exceed 28 guests per server. Our staff agrees to work private parties in addition to their regular schedules. If a specific server is desired, please make your request well in advance and we will try to accommodate it by adjusting schedules.
The service fee is as follows:
Dinner – $110 per server or 18% of bill, whichever is greater.
Lunch – $75 per server or 18% of bill, whichever is greater.
Sales tax of 7.0%, or the current rate, will apply as well. Neither sales tax nor gratuity is included in the minimum expenditure requirement.
We accept cash payments, Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. No separate checks please. Tax and gratuity are not included in the price of the menu. Prices and menu options are subject to change without notice.
